    Salary:  $90,000

    Overview of Position: The Speech Language Pathologist will manage patient care following the patient’s physician orders. The care provided can or will include assessments, preparing clinical progress notes, providing treatments and therapies, care planning, communication with other members of the patient’s team, coordination of care, teaching and training of family members and more.

  • Knowledge Skills & Abilities (includes but limited to):

    • Demonstrates effective knowledge of Speech Language Pathology principles and is able to model the application of empirically valid procedures during direct service, supervision, team meetings, staff meetings, training, reports, etc.
    • Consult and maintain a professional relationship with families, clients, staff, and other professionals
    • Skilled at implementing a variety of programs and demonstrates flexibility with the variety of individualized intervention cases
    • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, training of employees, providing supervision of SLPA’s as needed
    • Problem-solve independently and work with team members, staff, teachers, administration, and other school staff to identify problems and problem solve with ease
    • Skilled at coping with the stress of job responsibilities in adaptive and productive ways; demonstrates flexibility in responding to changes in cases, meetings, behaviors, etc.
    • Articulate and demonstrate the focus of assessment and intervention planning guidelines
    • Demonstrate flexibility with managing assigned workload and ensuring the needs of students are addressed

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Therapy
    • Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate
    • Valid Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology License
    • Valid AHCCCS ID number
